He was kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, and he made the whole experience feel easy, interesting, and fun. He adapted perfectly to our family and kept our two kids engaged, even in the heat. He always knew where to stop, where to find shade, and how to share the history in a way that was fascinating but never too heavy. His car was also very comfortable, which made the long drive to and from Tel Aviv so much easier. It was a long, hot day, but it went by so fast because we were having such a good time. “ Our experience with Compass Travel Israel was nothing short of extraordinary from start to finish. We traveled with them from November 16–30 as a family of seven with five children ranging in age from 9 to 22, and every single detail was handled with care, excellence, and thoughtfulness. From the very first email to the final day of touring, everything was seamless, personal, and deeply meaningful. A huge thank you to Benjamin and Ruben, who were an absolute pleasure to work with. Communication through email and WhatsApp was incredibly easy, and their response time was always quick, clear, and accommodating. Every question was handled with professionalism and genuine care. Our private guide Avi was hands-down one of the best guides we have ever had anywhere in the world. His knowledge of biblical truth, history, and culture is remarkable. At every stop, he went above and beyond to ensure we were fully taken care of. He was attentive to every need, incredibly patient with our children, and deeply passionate about what he teaches. We arrived as strangers but departed as family and each day was filled with laughter, meaningful conversation, and shared memories we will cherish forever. Avi truly brought Scripture and history to life in a way we will never forget. He even went the extra mile to secure special access for us, “pulling strings”as we like to say, to enter places most visitors never get to experience, including a mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem and the oceanic grottoes along the border near Lebanon, which stayed open just for us as they were closing for the day. Visiting the olive press mill and doing face mask. We can’t forget the caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. These were once-in-a-lifetime moments we will forever treasure. All of our tours were private, and because there was very little tourist traffic during our stay, it was truly the perfect time to visit. There were no crowds, and it felt as though we had the holy sites almost entirely to ourselves. As a family traveling with children, we felt more than 100% safe everywhere we went in Israel. One especially moving experience was visiting the town of Sderot to view the Gaza lookout and memorial honoring the Jewish lives lost near the Gaza Strip. Despite its painful history, the town itself was beautiful, resilient, and full of life like all of Israel. Every place we visited was stunning. I want to strongly emphasize this for anyone considering a trip: Israel is SAFE to visit even during wartime. With the absence of crowds, this may be one of the best times in history to tour the country. The experience is more personal, more intimate, and more meaningful than ever. It truly felt like having the country to ourselves. Compass Travel Israel exceeded every expectation in service, safety, organization, and spiritual depth. Spending only one day in Bethlehem and Jerusalem is daunting because there are so many places to see, but, when you have a guide like Yaniv, it’s not only possible, but it’s so enjoyable. Yaniv was a phenomenal guide—personable, knowledgeable, hilarious, and kind. He truly went above and beyond, letting our group stop at (far too many) local shops along our routes and taking us on local short cuts that allowed us to skip lines and see more things in less time. Make sure you’re well-rested before going on this tour, because it’s a long one, but it’s so worth it. Our driver, Abu Isa, was also amazing. The Mercedes shuttle was spacious, air conditioned, and very clean, and Abu Isa was always ready for our group whenever we would leave a spot to head on to the next. We never had to wait for our ride a single time the whole tour because Abu Isa was always ready for us. On the whole, this tour is amazing, perfect for those who have a full day to spend and want to see the highlights of Jerusalem and Bethlehem while also having time to get a taste for the local culture. Make sure to ask for Yaniv and Abu Isa!”

“ We booked two tours with Compass; the one day Old and New Jerusalem Tour and the Nazareth and Sea of Galilee Tour. For both tours the booking procedure, the given information and the pick up worked very good and without any problems. As we lived in a private appartement, they told us to pick up Hotel nearby. It was just 10min away by foot. To the tour to Jerusalem: The tour guide was good. She gave us a lot of information about the different sites visited. Sadly, sometimes there was too little time to see all of the sites, but it was good for getting a first impression. For lunch, we were guided to a restaurant. This was a total tourist scam. The prices were much too high for the given service and food. The portions were very small. The only good thing I can say about the restaurant is it's amazing view from the rooftop over Jerusalem. The second tour to Nazareth: Our guide, whos name was Dan Purges, is one of the most amazing people I've ever met. I used to be a photographer from New York and is now working as a tour guide. He was talking all the time, during the bus travel and at the sights, but that's absolutely nothing negative. I have provided you with so many amazing information about the different sights and enriched the tour with anectodes and personnal statements. It was just an amazing day. For lunch we visited a restaurant called St. Peter, directly at the beach of the sea of Galilee.”

First of all, the company did a wonderful and prompt job of helping us book what we wanted, and, as we were staying with family, arranged to pick us up at the closest hotel. Our superb tour guide, Abraham, well-showed is the history of Christianity before and after Christ. He was very patient, considerate and understanding. His flexibility towards unforeseen situations just to cater to our needs was remarkable. Flawless Trip to the Holy Land

“ We have recently returned from a 6 day trip to Israel. We are a family of 6 (4 kids 12 and under) and my husband's parents were along with us as well. My father-in-law did all of the booking with Compass and they were very responsive in answering questions and making sure our 5 days of private tours were properly organized. When we arrived in Tel Aviv, there were two drivers waiting to take us back to our hotel, which was very nice because we arrived late at night with children. The real gem of the trip, though, was our 5-day guide, Abraham! He had so much knowledge, so much personality, and so much kindness. He quickly got a feel for the type and level of tours we would want, and adapted our itinerary. He was absolutely fantastic with the children, too! The breadth of his knowledge of the Holy sites as well as the other attractions we visited was shocking! We are a family deeply rooted in our Christian faith, and he taught us so much about the history of our religion. I could go on and on about him. We all had tears in our eyes as we said goodbye on the final day. We had one small flaw in our trip, and that was being dropped off at the wrong terminal for our return flight. Our driver (not Abraham) did not ask us what airline we were flying and just dropped us off. We then had to search for information, and then search for a very crowded, very hot shuttle bus to the other terminal. Part of the reason we had booked private tours was to avoid this type of situation with four kids. But it didn't put a damper on the rest of our trip, which was spectacular. When I return to Israel, I will contact Compass and request Abraham again!”
