Day 2: Jerusalem iconic Old City. Follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ

The day begins by discovering Jerusalem, Holiest city in the world. See Jerusalem’s skyline from the top of Mt. Scopus. From afar, we spot the Old City and Temple Mount, where the golden dome of the Dome of the Rock stands out as a stunning photo opportunity. Down below, a 3,000-year-old Jewish cemetery catches our eye. As we continue on, we pass by the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations, and the Kidron Valley, which is home to ancient Jewish tombs.

Continue into the Old City through the Zion Gate to Jerusalem’s Cardo, the main thoroughfare of Byzantine Jerusalem. In the Jewish Quarter, visit the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall, the holiest of Jewish sites. The wall is about 2,000 years old, its cracks filled with the prayer papers from the thousands of people that visit here. Here, you have the opportunity to leave a prayer note between the ancient stones of the Wailing Wall.

Further along in the Christian Quarter, walk along the Via Dolorosa, the street that Jesus traveled on the way to his crucifixion. The Via Dolorosa, meaning “Way of Sorrow” in Latin, is one of the most significant religious sites in Jerusalem. It is believed to be the path that Jesus Christ walked carrying his cross on the way to his crucifixion. The route winds through the narrow streets of the Old City, passing through various stations of the cross, each marking a significant event in Jesus’ final journey. The stations include the place where Jesus met his mother, where he stumbled and fell, and where Simon of Cyrene helped him carry the cross.

The final stations of the Via Dolorosa lead to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, is one of the most significant religious sites in the world. It is believed to be the location where Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and resurrected.

The church is built on the site known as Golgotha or Calvary, where Jesus was crucified. Inside the church, there is a large stone believed to be the site of the tomb where Jesus was buried. The church also houses other important religious sites, including the Chapel of St. Helena, where it is believed that the True Cross was found, and the Chapel of Adam, where Adam is believed to have been buried.

At the entrance of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, there is a large stone called the Stone of Anointing or the Stone of Unction. It is believed to be the spot where the body of Jesus was prepared for burial by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, according to the New Testament. The stone is anointed with fragrant oil by the faithful who visit the church, and it is also a popular site for pilgrims to pause and reflect on the solemnity of the events that took place at the church.

The importance of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre extends far beyond its religious significance. It is also an architectural marvel, showcasing a blend of various architectural styles from different periods, including Crusader, Byzantine, and Renaissance. Its impressive interiors and intricate mosaics draw visitors from around the world.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites, and its significance cannot be overstated. It is a place where they can come to connect with their faith, reflect on the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and gain a deeper understanding of the history of their religion. Even for non-Christians, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre remains a fascinating and awe-inspiring monument, rich in history and cultural significance.

Afterward, enter the beautiful Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, and see the Kidron Valley, where centuries-old monumental Jewish tombs stand. We pass by the Dormition Church on Mount Zion and visit the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb.

Day 3: Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus Christ

This inspiring full-day Bethlehem Tour begins in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv and follows the ancient road through the Judean Hills, traditionally believed to be the very path taken by Mary and Joseph as they journeyed to Bethlehem more than two thousand years ago. As you travel through this beautiful, biblical landscape, you are invited to reflect on the sacred story of the Nativity.

Our first stop offers a brief look at the Palestinian Separation Wall, where striking contemporary art—most famously the works of Banksy—presents messages of peace, justice, and hope, encouraging reflection on the present-day realities of the Holy Land.

We then continue to the Shepherds’ Field, the holy place where the angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds, proclaiming:
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11).
Here, you will visit the Chapel of the Angels, beautifully designed by the renowned architect Antonio Barluzzi, whose sacred artwork and serene atmosphere invite prayer, meditation, and meaningful reflection.

Next, we enter Bethlehem, beginning with a visit to the Milk Grotto, a cherished Christian shrine where, according to tradition, the Virgin Mary nursed the infant Jesus while seeking refuge after His birth. It is believed that a drop of Mary’s milk fell onto the stone, miraculously turning the cave walls white—giving the grotto its name. This holy place has been a site of prayer and devotion for centuries.

From there, we proceed to Manger Square, the spiritual heart of Bethlehem and a gathering place for pilgrims from around the world. If time allows, you may enjoy a walk through the nearby Bethlehem Market, offering a glimpse into the daily life and traditions of this ancient Christian city.

The highlight of the day is a profound visit to the Church of the Nativity, built over the very place where Jesus Christ was born. At the heart of the church lies the Grotto of the Nativity, where a silver star marks the spot traditionally believed to be the birthplace of Jesus. For Christians, this place represents the fulfillment of God’s promise—the moment when God became flesh (John 1:14) and entered the world in humility.  Originally built in the 4th century by Emperor Constantine and his mother Saint Helena, the Church of the Nativity is one of the oldest continuously used churches in the world. One of the oldest continuously operating churches in the world, it is lovingly cared for by the Greek Orthodox, Catholic Franciscan and Armenian Christian communities.

Unlike many standard tours, your visit allows ample time inside this sacred complex. You will descend into the Grotto of the Nativity, where a silver star marks the exact spot of Christ’s birth, surrounded by glowing sanctuary lamps. You will admire the church’s ancient columns and golden mosaics and enter the Chapel of the Kings, commemorating the visit of the Wise Men who came to worship the newborn King.

This unforgettable pilgrimage experience offers not only historical insight but also a deep spiritual connection to the birthplace of our Savior, making it a truly meaningful journey of faith.

*Important information: Bethlehem part of the tour is subject to Palestinian authority regulations. Change of vehicles required during the tour. Bethlehem part guided by local Palestinian guide only. Passports mandatory – required on the tour day.

Day 4: Masada and Dead Sea Beach Relax

Descend to the Judean Desert via the inn of the Good Samaritan. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada where you will learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. Ascend Masada by cable car to tour the 2000-year-old fortress and palace built by King Herod, where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans.  This is the largest and most complete Roman siege camp that remains today. Visit the remains of the walls, palace, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths, and other findings. In 2001 UNESCO declared Masada as a World Heritage Site. Descend by Cable Car.

Drive via Ein Gedi, passing by Qumran where you will get a side view of the Qumran caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.

Continue to the Dead Sea. Float in the mineral-rich Dead Sea which, at 400m below sea level, is the lowest place on earth. Take a mud-bath and benefit from the therapeutic qualities of the natural Dead Sea mud. Enjoy the unique opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with the mineral-rich mud, that many believe has its therapeutic effects. Return transfer to pick up point.

Day 5: Western Coast of Israel: Caesarea Haifa Rosh Hanikra Akko

Early morning pickup from your Jerusalem main pickup point. Check out from your Jerusalem hotel before the tour and finish your day in Tel Aviv.

Start Caesarea, Haifa, Rosh Hanikra and Akko full-day tour. We drive along the coastal highway to Caesarea, the city where the past and the future come together. While new Caesarea is graced with magnificent modern homes, ancient Caesarea offers tourists the ruins of unique, impressive buildings. A tour of the national park is like walking through a story, and wandering between the ancient buildings one can both sense how people lived here thousands of years ago and enjoy modern, contemporary experiences, such as the enthralling musical performances held in the beautiful Roman Theater.

Next, we proceed to Haifa, the pearl of this tour. The third-largest city in Israel and one of its prettiest; Haifa has a lot to offer visitors. It has Israel’s largest port, a particularly active beach and is the home of the World Center of the Bahai Faith. The Bahai’s originated in the Bab sect which separated from Iran’s Shi’ite Islam in 1844. The Bahai World Center, an expansive and well-designed complex on the slope of the Carmel, is famous for its magnificent gardens. It includes the exquisitely landscaped “Hanging Gardens” which run about a kilometer along the Louis Promenade until Ha-Geffen Street. At the center is the impressive, gold-domed Shrine of the Bab, the burial place of the Bab, the founder of the faith. One can enjoy some enchanting spots while strolling through the beautiful gardens by day, but with the special lighting, an evening visit provides equal pleasure and a peaceful, romantic atmosphere.

Continue via Naharia to Rosh Hanikra. The gleaming white cliffs of Rosh Hanikra and the beautiful stretch of beach below are a magnificent sight to behold. But the real excitement begins when you border the cable-car for your two-minute ride down the 210-foot cliff.

Last visit to Acre, known also as Akko, Acre’s walls, fortresses, castles, churches, mosques, synagogues, and other structures tell the story of the many rulers that governed, fought for, built and adorned the City. Visiting Acre is an emotional journey to a glorious past and a one-of-a-kind experience, exciting visit to an ancient city with a young soul – a city declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Day 6: Nazareth & Sea of Galilee area. Jordan River Yardenit Baptismal Complex

Today we are shifting gears; we change direction heading North Israel. The destination is Nazareth, Tabgha, Capernaum and the Sea of Galilee and Jordan River Yardenit.

The first gem of your tour will be Nazareth city of religion and faith, of spirituality and holiness, but also a city with a rich history, fascinating archeology, modern culture and Middle Eastern charm. Nazareth, which began as a small Jewish village about 2,000 years ago, became a stronghold of Christianity in the Byzantine period, just a few hundred years later. During that period the name of Nazareth spread far and wide, and the yearnings to see the place where the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ had lived turned the city into a popular pilgrimage site. We will visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Josef.

After Nazareth, we continue our way through Kana to Tiberias, Sea of Galilee. We drive along Kineret Lake to visit Capernaum. Next, we visit Tabgha, located at the foot of Golan Heights, site of the miracle of fish and loaves.

Proceed to Yardenit, situated on the banks of the Jordan River, flowing forth from the Sea of Galilee, the baptismal site of Yardenit welcomes over half a million tourists and pilgrims annually who come to experience the spirituality and pastoral beauty of the waters of the River Jordan, in which Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.

According to the Christian faith, the Jordan River YARDENIT is considered the third most holy site in the Holy Land, just after Nativity Grotto in Bethlehem and Golgotha in Jerusalem, because it is the site of the most important event of Jesus’ life – his baptism and beginning of his ministry. The site offers 12 separate baptismal pools, enabling different groups to comfortably conduct private worship ceremonies. Return transfer to hotel in Tel Aviv after the tour.

Wonderful day with Avi

★★★★★
“ Avi was absolutely wonderful!! We had such a great day with him visiting Masada, Ein Gedi, and the Dead Sea. He was kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, and he made the whole experience feel easy, interesting, and fun. He adapted perfectly to our family and kept our two kids engaged, even in the heat. He always knew where to stop, where to find shade, and how to share the history in a way that was fascinating but never too heavy. His car was also very comfortable, which made the long drive to and from Tel Aviv so much easier. It was a long, hot day, but it went by so fast because we were having such a good time. We would absolutely book Avi again and are already looking forward to more adventures with him!”
- Kelly L

“ I had an amazing experience at the Dead Sea and Masada tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Enrique. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history throughout the entire trip you could tell he genuinely loves what he does and knows the subject inside and out. Enrique was extremely kind, welcoming, and friendly from start to finish. He made everyone feel comfortable and taken care of, and his hospitality really stood out. The whole experience felt organized, fun, and personal because of him. If you’re thinking about doing a Dead Sea and Masada tour, I highly recommend it and if you get Enrique as your guide, you’re in great hands.”
