Day 2: Jerusalem iconic old city and Bethlehem
The day begins by discovering Jerusalem, Holiest city in the world. See Jerusalem’s skyline from the top of Mt. Scopus. From afar, we spot the Old City and Temple Mount, where the golden dome of the Dome of the Rock stands out as a stunning photo opportunity.
Continue into the Old City through the Zion Gate to Jerusalem’s Cardo, the main thoroughfare of Byzantine Jerusalem. In the Jewish Quarter, visit the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall, the holiest of Jewish sites. The wall is about 2,000 years old, its cracks filled with the prayer papers from the thousands of people that visit here. Here, you have the opportunity to leave a prayer note between the ancient stones of the Wailing Wall.
Further along in the Christian Quarter, walk along the Via Dolorosa, the street that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion. Via Dolorosa, the “Way of Suffering,” is the path Jesus walked carrying the cross to His crucifixion. The Via Dolorosa, meaning “Way of Sorrow” in Latin, is one of the most significant religious sites in Jerusalem. It is the path that Jesus Christ walked carrying his cross on the way to his crucifixion. The route winds through the narrow streets of the Old City, passing through various stations of the cross, each marking a significant event in Jesus’ final journey.
The stations we visit include the place where Jesus met His mother, where He stumbled and fell, and where Simon of Cyrene helped Him carry the cross. These stops highlight key moments of Christ’s Passion along the Via Dolorosa.
The final stations of the Via Dolorosa lead to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, is one of the most significant religious sites in the world. It is the please where Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and resurrected.
The importance of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre extends far beyond its religious significance. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre also houses other important religious sites, such as the Chapel of St. Helena, where it is believed that the True Cross was found, and the Chapel of Adam, where Adam is believed to have been buried.
The church is built on the site known as Golgotha or Calvary, where Jesus was crucified. Golgotha, also called Calvary, the hill where Jesus was crucified. This sacred site inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre marks the place of His suffering, death, and ultimate sacrifice for humanity. Pilgrims come here to reflect on His Passion and devotion.
At the entrance of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, there is a large stone called the Stone of Anointing or the Stone of Unction. Stone of Anointing, also called the Stone of Unction, located inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This is the place where Jesus’ body was prepared and anointed for burial after His crucifixion. Time to kneel, pray, and reflect on this sacred moment in Christ’s Passion.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre, one of Christianity’s most sacred sites in Jerusalem. This church marks the traditional locations of Jesus’ crucifixion at Calvary (Golgotha), His burial, and His resurrection.
Next, we proceed to Bethlehem, to Manger Square. Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Upon arriving at Manger Square, we enter the Basilica of the Nativity, built above the Grotto of the Nativity, where Christ was born.
Inside the Grotto of the Nativity, a 14-point silver star marks the exact traditional place where Jesus Christ was born. The star bears the Latin inscription “Hic de Virgine Maria Jesus Christus natus est” — “Here Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary”. Pilgrims kneel here to reflect on the humility of Christ’s birth, fulfilling the prophecy that the Messiah would come from Bethlehem and bringing light and salvation to the world.
If time allows, we also visit the adjacent Church of St. Catherine, descending to the subterranean caves to see sacred tombs and chapels. On our return journey to Jerusalem, we pass the Church of the Angels in Shepherds’ Field, where angels announced Christ’s birth to the shepherds, and the Field of Ruth, where King David’s great-grandmother met Boaz.
*Important information: Bethlehem part of the tour is subject to Palestinian authority regulations. Change of vehicles required during the tour. Bethlehem part guided by local Palestinian guide only. Passports mandatory – required on the tour day.

Day 3: Masada Fortress and Dead Sea Beach Relax
Descend to the Judean Desert via the inn of the Good Samaritan. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada where you will learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. Ascend Masada by cable car to tour the 2000 year old fortress and palace built by King Herod, where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. This is the largest and most complete Roman siege camp that remains today. Visit the remains of the walls, palace, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths and other findings. In 2001 UNESCO declared Masada as a World Heritage Site. Descend by Cable Car.
Drive via Ein Gedi, passing by Qumran where you will get a side view of the Qumran caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
Continue to the Dead Sea. Float in the mineral-rich Dead Sea which, at 400m below sea level, is the lowest place on earth. Take a mud-bath and benefit from the therapeutic qualities of the natural Dead Sea mud. Enjoy the unique opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with the mineral rich mud, that many believe has its therapeutic effects. Return transfer to pick up point.

Day 4: Nazareth Sea of Galilee and Jordan River Yardenit Baptismal Complex
Check out from your Jerusalem hotel, early morning pickup from Jerusalem. Breakfast boxes will be provided by the Jerusalem hotel you stayed. Today’s destination is North of Israel, iconic town of Nazareth, Tabgha, Capernaum and the Sea of Galilee area and Jordan River Yardenit Baptismal Complex.
The first gem of your tour is Nazareth, a city of faith, spirituality, and holiness, enriched by deep history, fascinating archaeology, and vibrant Middle Eastern culture. Once a small Jewish village over 2,000 years ago, Nazareth became central to Christian faith as the place where the Virgin Mary and Jesus lived.
In Nazareth, we visit the Church of the Annunciation, built over the traditional site where the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive by the Holy Spirit, fulfilling God’s divine plan of salvation. We also visit the Church of St. Joseph, church stand over Joseph’s carpentry workshop and the Holy Family’s home, where Jesus spent His early years.
After Nazareth, the tour continues through Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine, and on to Tiberias on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Driving along Lake Kinneret, we arrive at Capernaum, known as Jesus’ own city, where He lived, taught, and performed many miracles.
Next, we visit Tabgha, located at the foot of the Golan Heights, the traditional site of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes, where Jesus fed the multitude. This peaceful setting invites reflection on Christ’s compassion and divine provision.
We then proceed to Yardenit Baptismal Complex, situated on the banks of the Jordan River, flowing from the Sea of Galilee. This sacred baptismal site welcomes pilgrims from around the world who come to experience the spiritual significance of the waters in which Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, marking the beginning of His public ministry.
Yardenit is considered one of the holiest sites in the Holy Land, following the Grotto of the Nativity in Bethlehem and Golgotha in Jerusalem, due to its deep connection to Christ’s baptism. Yardenit site offers 12 designated baptismal pools, allowing groups to conduct private worship ceremonies. Guests who wish may take part in a baptismal experience during the visit (approximately 30–40 minutes). Please note that baptismal services are not organized or provided, and all ceremonies must take place within the scheduled group visit time.
At the end of this tour day, we return to Tel Aviv.
