Day 2: Jerusalem iconic Old City. Follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ
The day begins by discovering Jerusalem, Holiest city in the world. See Jerusalem’s skyline from the top of Mt. Scopus. From afar, we spot the Old City and Temple Mount, where the golden dome of the Dome of the Rock stands out as a stunning photo opportunity. Down below, a 3,000-year-old Jewish cemetery catches our eye. As we continue on, we pass by the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations, and the Kidron Valley, which is home to ancient Jewish tombs.
Continue into the Old City through the Zion Gate to Jerusalem’s Cardo, the main thoroughfare of Byzantine Jerusalem. In the Jewish Quarter, visit the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall, the holiest of Jewish sites. The wall is about 2,000 years old, its cracks filled with the prayer papers from the thousands of people that visit here. Here, you have the opportunity to leave a prayer note between the ancient stones of the Wailing Wall.
Further along in the Christian Quarter, walk along the Via Dolorosa, the street that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion. Via Dolorosa, the “Way of Suffering,” is the path Jesus walked carrying the cross to His crucifixion (Luke 23:26–32; John 19:17). The Via Dolorosa, meaning “Way of Sorrow” in Latin, is one of the most significant religious sites in Jerusalem. It is the path that Jesus Christ walked carrying his cross on the way to his crucifixion. The route winds through the narrow streets of the Old City, passing through various stations of the cross, each marking a significant event in Jesus’ final journey.
The stations we visit include the place where Jesus met His mother, where He stumbled and fell, and where Simon of Cyrene helped Him carry the cross. These stops highlight key moments of Christ’s Passion along the Via Dolorosa.
The final stations of the Via Dolorosa lead to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, is one of the most significant religious sites in the world. It is the please where Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and resurrected.
The importance of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre extends far beyond its religious significance. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre also houses other important religious sites, such as the Chapel of St. Helena, where it is believed that the True Cross was found, and the Chapel of Adam, where Adam is believed to have been buried.
The church is built on the site known as Golgotha or Calvary, where Jesus was crucified. Golgotha, also called Calvary, the hill where Jesus was crucified. This sacred site inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre marks the place of His suffering, death, and ultimate sacrifice for humanity. Pilgrims come here to reflect on His Passion and devotion.
At the entrance of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, there is a large stone called the Stone of Anointing or the Stone of Unction. Stone of Anointing, also called the Stone of Unction, located inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre, one of Christianity’s most sacred sites in Jerusalem. This church marks the traditional locations of Jesus’ crucifixion at Calvary (Golgotha), His burial, and His resurrection.
Afterward, enter the beautiful Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, and see the Kidron Valley, where centuries-old monumental Jewish tombs stand. We pass by the Dormition Church on Mount Zion and visit the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb.
Garden of Gethsemane, located at the foot of the Mount of Olives. This sacred garden is where Jesus prayed the night before His crucifixion and where He experienced deep anguish. It is also the place where He was arrested after Judas’ betrayal. The ancient olive trees and peaceful surroundings make this a powerful place for reflection and prayer.
Last Supper Room (Cenacle) on Mount Zion, one of the most important Christian sites in Jerusalem. This is traditionally where Jesus shared His Last Supper with His disciples, instituted the Holy Communion, washed their feet, and foretold Judas’ betrayal. It is also linked to the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Visiting this sacred place gives a profound connection to the events of Jesus’ final hours before the crucifixion.

Day 3: Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Jericho Qasr El Yahud
Drive through the Judean Desert, passing the Inn of the Good Samaritan, the site of Jesus’ famous parable. Along the way, we follow the scenic route past Wadi Kelt and the 5th-century Monastery of St. George, perched on the cliffs, and stop briefly at the sign marking “sea level” before descending to Jericho.
In Jericho, we reflect on the Old Testament miracle when the city walls fell as Joshua led the Israelites in God’s name. In the New Testament, we remember Zacchaeus, the tax collector, who climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus entering Jericho. We will see the famed sycamore tree and spot Mount of Temptation, where Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness and overcame the devil’s temptations.
From Jericho, we continue to Bethlehem, where Jesus Christ was born over 2,000 years ago. Stop at Manger Square, where we visit the Church of the Nativity, home to the Grotto of the Nativity. Here a silver star marks the exact place of Christ’s birth.
Next, we visit the Church of St. Catherine and descend beneath the church into an ancient cave where St. Jerome translated the Hebrew Bible into Latin. On our return journey to Jerusalem, we pass Shepherds’ Field, where angels announced Jesus’ birth to the shepherds on Christmas Eve.
The tour also includes Qasr al-Yahud on the Jordan River, the site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. This sacred spot is open to visitors wishing to experience baptism, and it is also traditionally linked to the Israelites crossing into the Promised Land.

Day 6: Nazareth Sea of Galilee and Jordan River Yardenit Baptismal Complex
Early morning check out from your hotel in Jerusalem. Today we are shifting gears, we change direction heading North of Israel. The destination is Nazareth, Tabgha, Capernaum and the Sea of Galilee area and Jordan River Yardenit Baptismal site.
The first gem of your tour is Nazareth, a city of faith, spirituality, and holiness, enriched by deep history, fascinating archaeology, and vibrant Middle Eastern culture. Once a small Jewish village over 2,000 years ago, Nazareth became central to Christian faith as the place where the Virgin Mary and Jesus lived.
In Nazareth, we visit the Church of the Annunciation, built over the traditional site where the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive by the Holy Spirit, fulfilling God’s divine plan of salvation. We also visit the Church of St. Joseph, church stand over Joseph’s carpentry workshop and the Holy Family’s home, where Jesus spent His early years.
After Nazareth, the tour continues through Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine, and on to Tiberias on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Driving along Lake Kinneret, we arrive at Capernaum, known as Jesus’ own city, where He lived, taught, and performed many miracles.
Next, we visit Tabgha, located at the foot of the Golan Heights, the traditional site of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes, where Jesus fed the multitude. This peaceful setting invites reflection on Christ’s compassion and divine provision.
We then proceed to Yardenit Baptismal Complex, situated on the banks of the Jordan River, flowing from the Sea of Galilee. This sacred baptismal site welcomes pilgrims from around the world who come to experience the spiritual significance of the waters in which Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, marking the beginning of His public ministry.
Yardenit is considered one of the holiest sites in the Holy Land, following the Grotto of the Nativity in Bethlehem and Golgotha in Jerusalem, due to its deep connection to Christ’s baptism. Yardenit site offers 12 designated baptismal pools, allowing groups to conduct private worship ceremonies. Guests who wish may take part in a baptismal experience during the visit (approximately 30–40 minutes). Please note that baptismal services are not organized or provided, and all ceremonies must take place within the scheduled group visit time.
At the end of this tour day, we return to Tel Aviv.

Day 10: Western Coast of Israel: Caesarea Haifa Rosh Hanikra Akko
This exciting tour to the coastal cities of Caesarea, Rosh HaNikra, Haifa, and Acre begins as we travel north of Tel Aviv along the scenic coastal road. Passing the beach resort cities of Herzliya and Netanya, we arrive at Caesarea, where our tour explores the remarkable remains of Caesarea Maritima, an ancient Roman city built by Herod the Great, King of Judea, around 25–13 BC.
The port city once featured a theater, hippodrome, temples, palaces, and other monumental structures, many of which have been excavated and preserved. The theater is still used today for performances by leading artists. later became a Byzantine capital, and the Crusaders established a fortified city here with massive walls. Biblically, Caesarea is significant as the site where Cornelius, the Roman centurion, received Peter’s message and became the first Gentile convert to Christianity.
Continuing north, we pass through Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city, built on the slopes of Mount Carmel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Here we visit the Baha’i Gardens, with 19 terraces flowing down the mountain, planted with geometric precision and adorned with flowers, fountains, and statues. At the center stands the Shrine of Bab. While the gardens are primarily modern, Mount Carmel itself is biblically significant as the site where Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal. Your guide will explain the Baha’i faith, the gardens’ symbolism, and their cultural importance.
Next, the tour reaches Rosh HaNikra, at Israel’s northern border with Lebanon. Here, the sea crashes against dramatic white cliffs, forming a labyrinth of tunnels and caves hollowed out over millennia. The cliffs reflect on the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. Today, visitors descend to the caves via cable car, but historically the caves were accessible only by sea.
On our return journey south, we stop in the Crusader city of Acre (Acco). Above ground, the lively Ottoman-era city features a bustling market and fishing harbor. Beneath the surface lies a complete 12th-century Crusader city, including fortified walls and a moat that even Napoleon could not conquer. Explore the Crusader remains, the Turkish citadel, and sites used during the British Mandate. Acre’s history reflects centuries of strategic and spiritual importance along the Mediterranean coast.
From Caesarea’s Roman grandeur to Acre’s Crusader fortifications, this tour offers a fascinating blend of biblical history, ancient civilizations, and natural wonders, making it a memorable journey along Israel’s northern coastline. Return transfer to Tel Aviv to pick up point.
