Caesarea Haifa Rosh Hanikra Akko Group Tour from Jerusalem ITINERARY

We drive along the coastal highway to Caesarea, city where past and the future come together. While new Caesarea is graced with magnificent modern homes, ancient Caesarea offers tourists the ruins of unique, impressive buildings. A tour of the Caesarea National Park is like walking through a story, and wandering between the ancient buildings one can both sense how people lived here thousands of years ago and enjoy modern, contemporary experiences, such as the enthralling musical performances held in the beautiful Roman Theater.

Continuing along the coast, we arrive in Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city, beautifully set on the slopes of Mount Carmel overlooking the Mediterranean. This vibrant city offers a unique blend of natural beauty, culture, and breathtaking panoramic views. Stop at the world-renowned Baha’i Gardens, where 19 immaculate terraces cascade gracefully down the mountainside. Designed with stunning geometric precision, the gardens are adorned with colorful flowers, elegant fountains, and sculpted details. At their heart lies the golden-domed Shrine of the Bab.

Continue to Rosh Hanikra, Rosh Hanikra is a stunning geological site on Israel’s northwestern border, featuring dramatic white chalk cliffs and sea grottos formed by underground tremors. Rosh Hanikra is the only point in the country where the sea meets the mountains. It offers the world’s steepest cable car, walking paths inside the grottoes, a film presentation, and a suspension bridge. A short walk at the heart of the cliff reveals the grottos which are actually marine caves.

Continue to Akko to see the impressive underground Crusader Halls, which were built by the Hospitallers Knights. The Templars were one of the leading crusaders knights’ orders. This secret underground tunnel connected the main palace of the Templars to the port of Akko. The tunnel is about 150 meters long and it runs beneath the houses of the city. They contain a complex of six halls, a recently excavated large hall, a dining room, a dungeon and remnants of an ancient Gothic church. Walk through the Old City of Acre to see the Oriental Market and the Acre Port. Akko (Acre) – a city declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
